The offices in the Bates County Courthouse will not open today until
1:00 p.m., allowing county officials and employees to attend this
morning service for Southern Commission Larry Berry, who was killed in a
two-vehicle, head-on collision last Thursday night. The
service was scheduled at 10:00 a.m. today in the Larry Berry Gym at the
Hume School.
