Henry County Sheriffs Office : Drug Search Warrant Executed in Calhoun on Sunday Evening

According to Sheriff Kent Oberkrom, four persons were arrested on 24-hour investigation of various drug-related charges, in connection with a search warrant which was executed at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening, August 10, 2014, in the 300 block of South East Street, Calhoun.

The search warrant authorized deputies to search the residence for illegal drugs, as well as items of paraphernalia connected to the distribution and consumption of drugs. During the search warrant’s execution, small amounts of several different illegal substances, as well as paraphernalia items and currency were discovered.

Arrested was Brad Keith, age 47, of Calhoun, for distribution of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also arrested was George Howard, age 36, of Deepwater, for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia was Dustin Bailey, age 24, of Clinton. Arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia was Linda Jolley, age 61, of Calhoun.

“This investigation began earlier this year and continues to yield investigative arrests on drug-related charges, connected directly with the execution of search warrants and the seizure of illegal drugs across our county and within our communities. This office will continue its efforts into aggressively seeking out those that distribute illegal drugs within Henry County”, Sheriff Oberkrom stated.

Deputies which participated in the execution of the search warrant along with Sheriff Oberkrom were Major Rob Hills, Sgt. Mike Nelson, Cpl. Aaron Brown, Deputies Chase Jackson, Derek Foreman and Brady Graham.
