Tomorrow, Saturday, August 23rd
at 10:00 am, Phil Dixon, co-founder of the Negro League Baseball
Museum, will be at the Bates County Museum in Robertson Hall to present a
program about the legendary Kansas City Monarchs Baseball team. In
1924, the Monarchs claimed a Championship title and Phil Dixon is
attempting to present programs about every game the team played during
that year.
Following
the presentation, a free will donation luncheon will be served…Baseball
Style! 100% Angus Beef Hot Dogs, all kinds of toppings including
kraut, chili & cheese, Potato Salad, Nachos & Cheese Sauce, Ice
Cream and Soda. Join us for another Entertaining & Educational
program at the Museum.
