Gary
Allen Parks, 70 of Butler, Missouri passed away August 6, 2014 at
Heartland of Willow Lane in Butler. Gary was born October 7, 1943 in
Kansas City, Missouri, son of Roy and Rosemary (Kavanaugh) Parks. Gary
was employed 46 years by the United States Postal Service, working most
of that time at the Shawnee Mission post office.
Gary
was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by two sons: Tracy
Parks of Kansas City, Kansas, and Roger Parks, Sr., of Butler; one
daughter, Janet Wason and husband James of Butler; grandchildren Aaron
Smith, Matthew Garr, Britney Parks, Roger Parks, Jr., Logan Parks, and
Cassie Wason; and great-grandchildren Jacob Smith, Jack Winkler, and
Gabrielle Garr.
