Osceola Couple Seriously Injured After Henry County Accident

Around 7:15 a.m. this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Henry County Sheriffs Office, Deepwater Fire Department and The Clinton Fire Department all responded to a 2 vehicle accident on Missouri 13 Highway just North of Bridge A5387  in the Northbound Lane.

The Accident occurred when the 2007 GMC 3500 driven by 46 year old Edward L. Colston of Mansfield, Missouri and The 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Larry G Ferguson 75, of Osceola, Missouri both were traveling Northbound on MO-13 when a towed unit from the 2007 GMC 3500 broke loose striking the front of the 1997 Tahoe causing it to spin out of control and strike a guard rail and down a steep embankment.


Mr. Ferguson along with a passenger 64 year old Marilyn K. Ferguson also of Osceola, Missouri were both transported by Research Hospital in Kansas City by Life Flight Eagle with serious injuries. Mr. Colston received minor injuries, The tahoe was totaled at the scene and towed by Golden Valley Wrecker.
