UPDATE: Rollover Accident North of Adrian On I-49

Around 2:40 pm this afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol along with The Bates County Sheriffs Office, Adrian Fire Department and Bates County EMS all responded to a 1 vehicle rollover accident on Northbound I-49 and mile marker 144.4 ( AA Highway and E Highway overpass).

The accident occurred when the 2013 Kia Sorento driven by 74 year old Joan L. Wilson of Greenwood, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, The vehicle came to rest on the East Side of I-49 facing Southeast.

A passenger in the vehicle Zachary T. Wilson 24, Greenwood, Missouri as well as the driver Joan L. Wilson were transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Johnson Tow of Harrisonville, Missouri.
