Pretty large area of thunderstorms putting on a nice lightning display from south central Nebraska through central Kansas this evening. These storms are heading east-southeast but are likely to weaken considerably as they reach the MO/KS state line. Current speed, give or take 1-2 hours places showers and storms in the St. Joe area around 6 am, in the KC Metro 6-9 am. Won't try to time them too much past these areas as there is a good chance the rain won't advance much further east than this
