Free woman's self-defense training to be held in Osceola
On Monday, Oct. 6, the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office is co-sponsoring a free woman’s self-defense training class at the Osceola First Assembly of God Church. Woman ages 12 years old and older are invited to attend. Instructors from The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation (T.A.K.E.) will teach the unique, reality-based, hands-on self-defense training class. Sheriff Scott Keeler said he supports this type of training as well as any others designed to help protect the citizens of the county. He noted by co-sponsoring this event, the sheriff’s office is not endorsing one candidate above another.
