Henry County Sheriff's Office: Drug Investigations Continue

On Sunday, September 14, 2014 just after 9:30 p.m. a search warrant was executed at 559 NW 4th Street (Garland area) in regards to drug activity.

During the search of the residence a quantity of methamphetamine as well as methamphetamine paraphernalia was seized and taken into evidence. Arrested on 24 hour investigation of distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia was James V. Cooper, age 57, of the residence.

Sheriff Oberkrom, Sgt. Aaron Brown, Cpl. Jason Gillespie along with deputies Chase Jackson and Aaron Richardson were involved in the service of the search warrant. Sheriff Oberkrom said, "This is a continuing investigation into drug sales in Henry County and surrounding areas. If you have information about drug activity in your area, contact Sgt.
