Funeral services for Charles "Bud" Bollinger will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 7 at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 8 at Pleasant View Cemetery in Shawnee, Kansas. Charles Roy “Bud” Bollinger, age 70 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Promise Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. He was born September 20, 1943 to Floyd Andrew and Lois Bessie Wesson Bollinger in North Carolina.
Bud is survived by two daughters, Sandy Smading of Butler, Missouri and Chelle Hathcock of Drexel, Missouri; one sister, Barbara Edgmon of Butler, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jordyn Bollinger, McKenna Hathcock, Savannah Smading, Gannon Hathcock and Tylor Smading. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Mary Anne in 1988.
