The Vernon County Sheriff’s office set out to help the community YMCA Thursday by assisting with parking lot repairs. Donna Thomas and Jeff Snyder contacted Sheriff Mosher to see if any of the inmates could help work for the community. With donated gravel and security measures taking place, repairs to the YMCA parking lot were complete in less than two hours. Jeff Snyder was thoroughly pleased with the work, and said he was impressed with how painless the process was, and how quickly they worked and how respectful they were towards him and the general public.
The Vernon County Sheriff’s office wants to help support the community in any way they can. Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said, “It’s an amazing feeling knowing I can help the community and place that I live, it is what keeps this county thriving.”
