Funeral services for Jim Ramsey will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Pastor Ron Dunlap officiating. Visitation will be prior to services from 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Butler. Contributions to the American Legion or VFW.
James Ernest Ramsey, age 91 of Butler, Missouri died Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Adrian Manor Nursing Home. He was born December 4, 1922 to Washington Monroe and Waneta Rankin Ramsey in Butler, Missouri.
Jim is survived a son, Jim Ramsey of Butler, Missouri; two grandchildren, Joseph Ramsey and Hannah Ramsey; two great grandchildren, Mylee and Izaiah; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irma in 2012; a brother, Billy Ramsey; and a sister, Ann Catron.
