Butler Bear Backer’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament

The Butler Bear Backers Organization will host the 6th Annual Bear Backer Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday May 24th. The Annual Tournament was organized and ran like a charity tournament, but with all participants winning prizes. As you know the Bear Backers was formed to raise funds to finance, improve and sustain athletic programs and facilities for the Butler R-V School District, through the generous support of the community.

The Annual Golf Tournament serves as an avenue to raise funds for the purchase of Football uniforms, Basketball uniforms, Cheerleading uniforms, Wrestling Singlet’s and Warm-ups. Bumper Pads for the Gym Walls, Track equipment and the Track Tent, Weight Room equipment, Video Cameras and Cameras and many other much needs uniforms and equipment.

The Butler Bear Backers are reaching out early this year, knowing that you are asked numerous times for donations. They ask that you seriously consider supporting this tournament as its main focus is to support the Butler High School student athletes. There are several ways you can support the tournament and the student athletes, you can:

• 1. Bring a team of friends, of family , or from work to play. Team participation will be a donation of $300.00 per team of four. (not including carts)

• 2.Sponsor a hole for $100.00. Your sign will be present on that hole throughout the tournament.

• 3. Make a donation from monetary donations, gift certificates, or merchandise.

• 4. 100% of monetary donations will go to the young men and women at Butler High School and Butler Jr. High School.

• 5. If you decide to have a team and a hold sponsor the cart rental fee will be waived. Otherwise it will be $40.00 per cart.
