Nevada man arrested in connection to burglary and theft cases

A Nevada man has been arrested in connection to burglary and theft cases. According to Nevada Police Department Officials, Detectives have been investigating several reported crimes that included the theft from a parked automobile, as well as a break in of hotel property. During the investigation, relable information from an informant was received that supported the evidence to the suspect also being responsible for the recent burglary of the Vernon County Recycling Center. 

The suspect has been indentified as 40 year old Timothy Roark. Roark was arrested on charges issued by the Vernon County Associate Circuit Court for attempted burglary in the 2nd degree, and two counts of felony stealing. Roark is being held in the Vernon County Jail. Bond has been set at $20,000 cash only. Nevada Police Department reminds area residents to contact their local police department if they have any information that would be helpful to combat crime.
