Osceola man arrested on felony drug charge

On July 17, Leland
Daggett, 59, Osceola, was arrested on a St. Clair County warrant
charging him with a class B felony of manufacturing a controlled
substance. The charge stems from an incident on July 16 when St. Clair
County Sheriff’s Office deputies, members of the Mid Missouri Multi
Jurisdiction Drug Task Force, and the Morgan County SWAT Team conducted a
search warrant at his residence on SE 401 Road, Osceola.
During the
investigation digital scales and a plastic bag containing a white
substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine was discovered
in a garden on the property. Bond is set at $50,000 cash or surety.
