Around 6:35 a.m. this morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County with assistance of the Adrian Fire Department responded to a one vehicle accident on AA Highway just East of County Road 10001 in Northwest Bates County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1986 Chevrolet truck driven by 18 year old Zachary T. Ball of Adrian, Missouri swerved to miss a deer that was in the roadway causing the truck to veer out of control and run off the left side of the roadway and over turn.
Mr. Ball sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri.
The vehicle received extensive damage in this accident and was secured and left at the scene of the crash.
