Funeral services for Arma Lee will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler, Missouri. There is no visitation. Burial in Appleton City Cemetery, Appleton City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Appleton City Cemetery, Ohio Street United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.
Arma Lee Jones, age 88 of Butler, Missouri, passed away March 19, 2016 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born August 4, 1927, to Fred Lester and Ermine Lucy Huffman Talbot in Appleton City.
Arma Lee is survived by three sister-in-laws; Eva Jones of Peculiar, Nadine Bartimus of Clinton, and Katherine Jones of Appleton City. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; Peggy Graber and husband Jim, Casey Jones and wife Debbie, Larry Jones, Carolyn Snyder and husband Dennis, Stacie Harkrader and husband Brett, Bobbi Farmer and husband Denton and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind special friends and caretakers; Dale Morrison, Tim Morrison, Nelson and Lois Myers, Merle Mears, Maribeth Golladay, Joann Unruh, Karen Dirks, Georgetta Burton, and many other friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Darwin; one brother, Joe Jimmie, brothers-in-law; Don, Dale, and Robert Jones and Carol Bartimus; and sister-in-law; Beth Jones.
