Domestic Assault In Spruce Area

On June 25, 2016 Deputies of the Bates County Sheriffs Office responded to a residence in Spruce, MO for a possible domestic assault in progress. 

Upon arriving at the residence Deputies made contact with the victim. 

The victim stated that her husband, Joe Resz (DOB 4/6/1961), had slapped her in the face and had thrown her to the floor. 

The Sheriff's Deputies observed a red mark on the victim’s arm where Mr. Resz had grabbed her. 

Joe Resz was arrested and transported to the Bates County Jail. Resz was charged with Domestic Assault in the 2nd Degree.

The bond for Mr. Resz was set at $15000.00 cash or surety.
