The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1997 Saturn driven by 21 year old Jacob L. Boyd of Garden City, Missouri failed to yield and struck the 2008 Chevrolet driven by 35 year old Justin R. Pace of Raymore Missouri.
Mr. Boyd fled from this accident and was arrested around 7:00pm.
He was charged with 1.) Felony leaving the scene of a accident 2.) Failure to yield to a approaching vehicle 3.) No Seatbelt 4.) Possession of Marijuana up to 35 grams 5.) Unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Mr. Boyd was booked into the Cass County Jail.
