Elizabeth Rose Dozier, age 68, of Nevada passed away Friday June 24, 2016 in Joplin, MO. Rose was born November 3, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Robert and Anna (Gibear) Chilton.
Rose enjoyed the company of her animals and was a huge supporter of the Humane Society. She worked as a truck driver, cashier, and a waitress. She took great pride in her cardinal bushes and flowers in her yard.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband Mike, and mother, Anna Louise Watts. She is survived by her sons: Lee Dozier, Sheldon, MO; Michael Dozier (Pam), Genoa, NE; Richard Dozier (Annie), Schuyler, NE; daughter, Tanya Haslag (Larry), Bonnets Mills, MO; grandsons: Christopher Dozier, Matthew Dozier, Cory Dozier, and Larry Joe Rusk III; granddaughters: Caitlyn Dozier, Valerie Dozier and Rebecca Rose Rusk; numerous great-grandchildren.
