Appleton City man charged with supplying liquor to a minor

On Aug. 18, George Richey, 54, Appleton City, was arrested by the Appleton City Police Department of a St. Clair County warrant charging him with an unclassified misdemeanor supplying liquor to a minor. Bond is set at $2,500 cash or surety. 

The charge stems from an incident in January when Richey allegedly purchased alcohol for a minor who was later arrested for minor in possession.
