On 8/21/16 around 12:35pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County along with Bates County Sheriff''s Deputies responded to a one vehicle motorcycle accident on Route B Highway at SE County Road 9606 in the Rockville area of Bates County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2015 Harley Davidson driven by 62 year old Marilyn D. Swarens of Butler, Missouri failed to negotiate a curve and traveled off the South side of the roadway, striking a ditch and ejecting her off the bike as it overturned.
She sustained minor injuries in this accident and was transported by Bates County EMS to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
The bike sustained minor damages and was towed from the scene by a private vehicle.
