Monday 8/22/16 Cass County Sheriff's Deputies along with the Missouri State
Highway Patrol responded to the 14000 block of E. 307th around 8:30 am
on the call of trespassing/attempt vehicle theft where the suspect fled
the scene south of Harrisonville. The victim reported that they chased the suspect and at some point believes the suspect shot at the victim.
There were no injuries. Deputies and a K9 team located the suspect’s vehicle a short distance away in a farm field, however no person has been taken into custody.
