Around 3:50pm today the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Henry County along with Henry County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on SW 1339 Road at 18 Highway in rural Henry County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2011 Chrysler driven by 41 year old Michael D. Kruse of Clinton, Missouri ran off the left side of the roadway striking the edge of a driveway and mailbox before striking a tree.
Mr. Kruse sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by Lifeflight Eagle to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Golden Valley Tow.
