James A. Wheatley, Rich Hill, passed away Saturday, August 13, at Breezy Meadows in Butler. He was 98. Arrangements are under direction of the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, and services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. The family receives friends between six and seven o'clock Monday evening, August 15, at Heuser Funeral Home.
Memorials either to the Rich Hill United Methodist Church, the Mark Wheatley Scholarship Fund or the Bates County Museum are suggested and can be made in care of Heuser Funeral Home.
