WARSAW, Mo.- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Harry S. Truman Lake announce Bucksaw Beach will reopen Thursday, Sept. 1. The beach closed Friday, Aug. 26 due to elevated levels of E.coli bacteria, which could cause health risks.
Water samples conducted at Bucksaw Beach this week confirmed the levels of E. coli are now safe for swimming.
