On 9/8/16 around 11:45am the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one vehicle accident on Route D just North of Route W in rural Cass County.The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2012 Chevrolet driven by 19 year old Haley A. Abbate of Cleveland, Missouri traveled off the right side of the roadway she over corrected causing the vehicle to travel back across the roadway off the left side of the roadway before striking a fence and culvert.
Haley A. Abbate sustained moderate injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Overland Park Regional Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Miller Tow of Harrisonville, Missouri.
