On 9/4/16 around 4:00pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Bates County arrested 36 year old Michael B. Washburn of Kansas City, Missouri after a police chase with the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Cass County Sheriff's Deputies that started in the Northbound lanes of I-49 in Bates County and ended in Harrisonville around Commercial Street.Mr. Washburn was arrested for 1.) Felony Resisting Arrest 2.) Endangering the welfare of a child.
More traffic charges are pending on this subject at this time and he was booked in and held in the Cass County Jail.
