Deborah Lynn Williams |
On April 18, 1986 she was united in marriage to Rocky Miller and he preceded her in death on April 7, 2000. She later married Ed Williams on May 18, 2001 and he survives of the home.
Deborah was raised in El Dorado Springs and attended school there. She served in the United States Army for two years in the early 1980’s. Deborah worked as an LPN for 35 years, during that time she worked at Nevada City Hospital for a time and later Nevada Habilitation Center. She was currently employed by Southwest Community Services in Nevada. In 2011 she was named “Employee of the Year” at the Nevada Habilitation Center. Deborah enjoyed caring for all of her animals but she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Ed, survivors include her daughter, Regan Harrell, Nevada; two sons, Scott Harrell, and Curtis Harrell, both of Nevada; grandchildren, Kelsey Harrell, Braden Laning, Brycen Laning, Braxton Laning, Blake Laning, Kailey Harrell, Kyle Harrell; step children, Michael Williams and his wife Michelle, Travis Williams and his wife Lorie, Jeff Williams and his wife Amy, Nelson Williams and his fiancé Myarka; several step-grandchildren; four sisters, Beverly Conway, Olathe, KS, Barbara Henry, Nevada, Carol Ruthmann, Butler, Deena Selby, Nevada; mother-in–law, Ruby Craft, Milo; step mother-in-law, Bonnie Wiliams, Independence, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dederick, MO. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
