Funeral services for Gordon Malone will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be prior to services from 1-2 p.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Cremation following services. Contributions to American Cancer Society.

Gordon William Malone, age 69 of Appleton City, Missouri died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Breezy Meadows in Butler, Missouri. He was born May 17, 1947 to William Thomas and Dorothy Marie Bowen Malone in Salem, Missouri.

Gordon is survived by his wife, Teresa Malone of Appleton City, Missouri; one son, Daniel “Danny” Kendrick and wife Racheal of Belton, Missouri; one daughter, Jennifer Elaine Hughes and husband Curtis of Garnett, Kansas; his mother, Dorothy Malone of Harrisonville, Missouri; one brother, Douglas Malone and wife Roxy of Harrisonville, Missouri; one sister, Cherrie Palmer and husband Matt of Silom Springs, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Brook Hughes, Lyndsay Hughes, Ina Mae Kendrick and Cora Lee Kendrick; and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father; his first wife Nancy; and one brother, Greg Malone.
