Rosalee Kelley |
Rosalee grew up in Nevada. She attended school there and graduated from Nevada High School with the Class of 1949. In 1956 she moved to Kansas City and spent most of her life living in Nevada and the greater Kansas City area. She has lived in the Kansas City area for the past 20 years. Rosalee was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene in Nevada.
Survivors include her children, Diane Carroll, Grain Valley, Rose Abrams, Belton, MO; grandchildren, William Kelley and his wife Callie, Blue Springs, Dereck Carrol and Mandy Duty, Blue Springs, Trenton Kelley and his wife Ashley, Raymore; great-grandchildren, Kasper, Coleman, Keagan, Cooper, Mason; brothers, Carl Hendrix and his wife Joy, Moore, OK, Gordon Hendrix and his wife Wilma, Nevada; one sister, Bonnie Powell and her husband Ted, St. Charles, MO; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Willis she was preceded in death by one son, Steven, 13 brothers, and three sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2- 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with graveside services following in Moore Cemetery.
