The charge stems from an investigation on Oct. 16 when a St. Clair County deputy was called to assist Missouri Department of Conservation Agent Zeb Jordan who had made contact with Mead at the King's Prairie Conservation Area on Highway T.
A partially smoked marijuana cigarette was noticed lying in the front seat of Mead’s vehicle. During the investigation 36 grams of marijuana were located in Mead’s vehicle. The marijuana was divided into five glass containers inside a black bag under the driver's seat. A wooden container with marijuana residue was also located.
