He is survived by two sons, Clint Jacobs, Kansas City, Missouri, Preston Jacobs, Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters, Teresa Ryan and husband Mikel, Grandview, Missouri, Rachel Dawn Jacobs-Reeves and husband Danny, Harrisonville, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; four brothers, Hobart Jacobs, Belton, Missouri, Bob Jacobs, Creighton, Missouri, Richard Jacobs, Harrisonville, Missouri, Charlie Jacobs, Warsaw, Missouri; two sisters, Betty Leon, Blue Springs, Missouri, Mary Anne Cox, Urich, Missouri; his loving friend and caregiver, Linda Moore of the home; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the Dickey Funeral Home, Garden City, Missouri with burial in the Mullin Cemetery near Urich, Missouri.
Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at the funeral home.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the VFW Service Officer Program.
