A memorial service has been lovingly planned and will be carried out by Sandy’s family and friends. The service will be held at Freedom Tabernacle Full Gospel Church at 460 Truman St. in Osceola, Missouri on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. The minister will be Pastor Harvey Woods.
Memorial information: A bench is planned in Sandy’s memory. Anyone wishing to donate toward the cost of the bench should see Linda McKee.
Sandy Lea DeMaggio, 50 of Montrose, Missouri, was born October 22, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Edward and Mae (Pennington) DeMaggio. She departed this life November 17, 2016 at the Kansas City Hospice House.
Sandy was a stay at home mom and later in life loved being able to care for and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was very artistic and enjoyed making wooden items including birdhouses, custom canes and signs for her family and friends. She was especially gifted at putting something personalized on each of her creations making them very special to each owner.
Sandy was very loving and caring always being there for family and friends who needed her.
Preceding Sandy in death were her parents, Edward and Mae DeMaggio; her step-parents, Violet DeMaggio and Ervin Scott; two sisters, Mary Jo Kendall and Cathy Ramirez; two brothers, Jerry Scott and Bob Scott; and one nephew James Joy.
Survivors include her sisters: Diana DeMaggio, Linda McKee, Janet Scott, Liz Ramirez, Bea Clemons and Nina Scott; her brothers: Edward DeMaggio, William “Frank” DeMaggio and Mike DeMaggio; her husband, Gary Goth; one son, Daniel Ray Ball and wife Tuesday and their children: Michael, Dylan, Aaron, Tyler and Dravon; one daughter, Frankie Mae Ball and ex-husband Daniel Ray Ball, Sr.; grandchildren, Jerry Lee Shelton and Riley Ray Ball; many much loved nieces, nephews and extended family members.
