The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2000 Jeep driven by 17 year old Alex L. Austin of Chilhowee, Missouri crested a hill and lost control of his vehicle causing it to traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturning striking a fence.
Mr. Austin sustained moderate injuries in this accident and he was transported by ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by a private party.
