The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 2003 GMC Sierra 1500 driven by 29 year old Samantha G. Taylor of Deepwater, Missouri lost control of her vehicle and ran off the right side of the roadway before returning to the road and running off the left side of the roadway causing the vehicle to strike mailbox before overturning and sliding off the roadway coming to rest on its wheels.
Samantha G. Taylor sustained serious injuries in this accident and she was transported by ambulance to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri for treatment.
The vehicle was totaled and towed from the scene by Golden Valley Tow of Clinton, Missouri.
