The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1996 Ford Crown Victoria driven by 37 year old Christopher P. Aguilar of Eldorado, Springs, Missouri struck a horse that was in the middle of the roadway.
Mr. Aguilar sustained minor injuries in this accident and he refused medical treatment at the scene.
The vehicle received extensive damages and it was secured and left at the scene.
