Hume Community News 12/6/16

Once again this week we have been saddened by losses in our community and surrounding area.

The community of Hume wishes to extend their sympathy the family of Melba Hines Crabtree. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

To the family of Teresa Sword who passed away on December 1. She will be greatly missed, but for some reason God needed her singing in his heavenly choir. I had the pleasure of being in a choir she directed at CCPA in Nevada and in Hume. Our thoughts are with Vern and her family.

Our sympathy to the family of Richard “Dick” Heaton who passed away who bravely fought his battle with cancer. Our prayers go out to his children and the rest of their family.

We wish to extend our sympathy also to the family of Pat Swickhamer. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of these families who have lost their loved ones, especially this time of year. But oh what a glorious reunion must be going on up in heaven with loved ones who had gone on before.

Charlie and Jeannie Franklin enjoyed having Thanksgiving with everyone being able to come home. Those traveling the furthest were Selena from Arkansas and Logan from Arizona. Charlie and Jeannie enjoyed a wonderful time with the whole family.
