Robert E. Whittington, son of Virgil Whittington and Joann Calley, was born August 17, 1955 in Pecos, Texas. As a military family they moved frequently, even residing in Oahu, Hawaii for some time. Robert graduated from Harrisonville High School in 1973. He married and had two daughters, Lindsey and Lisa. He later divorced and moved to Butler, Missouri residing with Lenora Smith.
Robert worked for Butler Motors for many years. On Monday December 5, 2016 Robert passed away at the age of 61.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Shubert; brother Duane Whittington; his daughters, Lindsey Austin and Lisa Whittington; five grandchildren; and Lenora Smith.
