"The safety of students and staff is a top priority at Sherwood. Because of this, we take even the slightest comments regarding school safety seriously, and act promptly. This morning, a rumor about a possible school shooting at Sherwood was shared with district administration. The rumor was found to be false, and based on a student comment taken out of context.
