When crews arrived on scene they was advised by the occupant of the residence that the fire was in the attic of the structure.
A thermal imaging camera was used to locate the hot spot in the attic and then crews conducted a salvage and overhaul process.
The damage caused by the fire was estimated to be $11,000 for the contents and the building. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
The residence was owned by Mike Banes.
