Beulah May Horn |
Beulah was born October 16, 1931 in Clinton, Missouri, the daughter of Samuel R. and Pearlie M. (Bailey) Oliphant, Sr. She was a lifelong Cass County, Missouri resident and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.
Beulah worked for Food Town grocery store for 15 years and then for Scavuzzo’s for 13 years before retiring in 1998. While in high school she worked as a “soda jerk” at South Side Drugs on the square. She enjoyed attending all the senior dances in the area.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Lyndle Rowland on May 21, 1988 and Donald L. Horn on September 16, 2016, 7 sisters and 4 brothers, Artie Lee, Laura Francis, Johny Robert, Pearlie May, Ethel Ada, Viola Kathrine, Mary Pauline, Ruth Evelyn, Marion Eugene, and Samuel Robert. She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Harris (Roger Lehr), Harrisonville, Missouri and Terri Fitzgerald (Pat) Kingwood, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Jerami Harris, Amy Taylor, David Harris, Janna Fitzgerald, and Megan Perez, and 5 great-grandchildren, Jazmyne, Corbyn, Kenady, Kayden, and ZoeJayne.
