Helen Loraine Grant 53, of Nevada passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St Louis, MO. Helen was born Feb. 3, 1963 in Appleton City, the daughter of James and Carol (Ewing) Smith.
She graduated from Nevada High School and married Leonard Grant on June 13, 1981. Helen worked for an employment agency as a secretary and receptionist. She loved spending time with family, scrap-booking, and helping Leonard tinkering and fixing automobiles.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Helen is survived by her husband Leonard of the home, a son Levi of the home, a sister, Annette Graham of Harrisonville, two brothers, Dan Smith of Ft. Worth, TX, and Charles Smith of Harrisonville. A host of nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends. Family request no services.
