Larry was raised in Joplin. For a time Larry worked for Missouri Pacific Railroad. He later became a truck driver where he worked most of his working life until his early retirement due to disability. He loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. Larry was a kind, caring man who loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Kelly Marie Robertson, Nevada; his son, Larry “Porky” Robertson, Jr. and his wife Carrie, Nevada; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; several nieces, and nephews. In addition to his wife, Teresa, he was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Carol Jane Friedli, and Tracy Lynn Hutchison; and one sister, Kathryn McGee.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
