MDC held an open house Jan. 26 at the Schell-Osage Conservation Area
near Schell City in Vernon County. Attendees talked with MDC staff about the area’s wetlands, fishing lakes, and wildlife habitat. MDC is updating a 10-year plan for the area and is considering possible improvements.
Comments were accepted from attendees about the area. The public is also invited to share ideas online now through Feb. 15 at http://mdc.mo.gov/areaplans. -- Joe@MDC
