Update: House a total loss in Drexel

Shortly before 3:30pm this afternoon the Drexel Fire Department along with mutual aide of the Adrian Fire Department and Bates County Sheriffs Deputies responded to a structure fire in the 15000 block of NW CR 10741 in rural Drexel.

The structure which was around 300 feet off the roadway was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived onscene. 

The home was unoccupied at the time of this fire and the cause is pending investigation. The home was a total loss and it's unsure if anyone was living in the home at this time.
