Low humidity + no precipitation = fire hazardIt's dry and it looks like the situation isn't going to get better very soon. It's almost tinderbox conditions and proof of that came last night in Merwin when a fire that started along the road caused heavy damage to a garage and a smaller structure.
It would be wise to avoid outdoor burning of any type, and make sure cigarettes are out before tossing. As shown below, our next reasonable chance of rain will be next Monday:
