| It was a clean sweep for the Adrian Blackhawks in the Cass Midway basketball tournament! In the first game of the night the lady Blackhawks capped off a
dominating tournament by routing the KC Lutheran Knights 64-44. The
outcome of this game went off as expected but the ladies played well in
their victory. In the nightcap the boys varsity team look to avenge a
12-point defeat to The Marksmen in the regular season matchup. The boys
came out on fire and led from start to finish. Sherwood made a few
runs to make it interesting but those runs were met with equal and
opposite resistance. Sherwood close the game to within three points late
in the 4th quarter that Adrian stretched adapt to a 14-point lead and
coasted to a 59-50 upset victory over and the top-seeded Sherwood
Marksmen. The boys played well on both sides of the ball but their
defense forced a lot of turnovers and bad shots. Adrian also had great
