MODOT Traffic Alert: One Lane of I-49 Closing Tuesday for Preliminary Work on 155th St. Bridge

CASS/JACKSON COUNTIES – The left lane of both northbound and southbound I-49 will be closed between Route 150 to 163rd Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7 through Thursday, Feb. 9, to allow crews to prepare for the upcoming 155th Street Bridge demolition, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Motorists traveling in the vicinity of I-49 and 155th Street in Cass and Jackson counties beginning Friday, Feb. 10, will need to take a signed detour or be aware that traffic may be affected due to bridge demolition and construction.
