May E. Wiskur, age 100 years, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at
Clinton Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Clinton, Missouri. Funeral
services will be held 10:00 am Friday, February 10, 2017 at the
Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton, Missouri.
The family will receive
friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, February 9, 2017 also at the
Chapel. Interment will be in Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor, Missouri.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the Leeton United
Methodist Church and may be left in care of the funeral home. Fond

May
was born August 4, 1916 in Appleton City, Missouri the daughter of
George and Laura (Muller ) Harms. During WWII she worked on the line
at the International Shoe Factory in Windsor, Missouri. Her later years
were spent as a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time gardening,
quilting, and reading Bible verses. May was very religious. She prayed
everyday.
May was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,
Lawrence, a son, Kenneth, 3 siblings; Leonard Harms, Cora Elliott, and
Lillie Harris, and a sister-in-law, Madeline Harms.
Survivors
include her children, Henry Wiskur (Thea) of Leeton, Missouri and Janet
Akers (Roy) of Clinton, Missouri, a brother, Calvin Harms of Lexington,
Missouri, 5 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, as well as several
great great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Vansant-Mills Funeral Home of Clinton, Missouri.
